It comes from younger vineyards on the southwestern slope, influenced by the Mediterranean climate. Lively notes of red fruit, cherry and redcurrant, with slightly spicy overtones. The mouth is full and plush, with silky tannins and a succulent finish.

The landscape
The surrounding landscape features olive trees and the typical Mediterranean scrub, with myrtle, helichrysum and rosemary plants. The soils consist of sand from degraded Pietraforte stone.
In the cellar
Ageing takes place in 50-hl Slavonian oak barrels for 6 months.
